8 days including arrival and departure days. 5 days walking, 1 day midweek for visiting Roman ruins and a Provençal market. Half day cycling for those that wish, or a via ferrata ascent with a local guide. Here we are in northern Provence, the secret gems of southern France, not so well-known, far from the sea but in the heart of spectacular and wild scenery. Lots of our walks will take us through olive groves and vineyards, to lavender fields on  plateaux way above deep rocky gorges, gouged out over time by the fast flowing rivers of the regions. Vultures abound!
The hikes to these summits are exciting and rough but we’ll also take the time to explore the region too, especially the many ancient villages and hidden gems. For the first time this year this trip will have 2 different hotel bases.
